Photo's I have shot using the 1968 Polaroid 250 Land Camera. I've been using Fuji FP-3000B, Fuji FP-100B & Fuji FP-100C film.

Permalink Daniel Higgs & Freddy Corbin This was the photo I was hoping to take. Such history here. Both Freddy & Dan were considered the young turks of their craft while working at Ed Hardy’s Tattoo City back in the early 90’s. It was a real trip to watch Freddy listening to Dan, given the span of their friendship.
Permalink When I first met Dan Higgs I was a teenager. It was in my hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas & my friend’s band was opening up for Lungfish. It was a humid, hot, merciless, southern summer and here was this quietly intense man with icey-blue eyes smoking Pall Malls… he didn’t “have tattoos.” He was “tattooed.” Like, “everywhere.” He was the first guy I had ever seen in the flesh who was tattooed on his hands & neck. And the designs were incredibly bold. One that stuck with me was this big spider, but the body was an 8 ball, which was also a bomb with a lit fuse emerging from the spinneret. Knowing what I know about him now, his work & life & the places he’s been & the people he has been around, it makes total sense. But 24 years ago I had no reference & was utterly rudderless as to how to regard this person & it scared me a little.  Nonetheless, it was a real experience & privilege to have watched him perform back then. Not much has changed.
